Stuck in the Rain

Michael is disappointed when rain cancels his baseball game, so his neighbour Stillwater, a wise panda, shows him another way to see the day. Stillwater explains that he treats the rain as a raincoat and tells the story of Odette, a gardener who removes the bees from her garden and then loses all her fruit. Michael takes the lesson to heart, realises rain helps things grow, and starts having fun racing leaf boats and jumping in puddles. The episode closes with the children playing happily in the rain.

Find Mom's Phone

Lila and her family are on a camping trip when Mom's phone, holding all their hiking photos, goes missing. Lila leads Mom back along the trail, using landmarks they passed, rock towers, a eucalyptus tree, ribbons, a log bench and giant mushrooms, to retrace their steps. She finds the phone on the rock where the family had lunch, and they hurry back to camp before dark. The episode ends around a sunset campfire with the family singing a camping song.

Ducks

Bing and his friend Sula go with Flop to the park pond to feed the ducks. Sula shows Bing how to stand 'statue still' and stay quiet so the ducks come close, while Bing keeps scaring them off by being loud. A big goose suddenly arrives and gobbles all the food, startling Bing before flying off. By the end Bing tries again, manages to stay calm and quiet, and a single duck comes right up to him.

Fireworks

Bing is excited to watch fireworks from his garden with Flop, while friends Pando, Coco and Charlie play nearby. Sula arrives wearing earmuffs because she does not like the bangs, and Bing insists he is brave enough to go outside. When a huge rocket bangs overhead Bing races back in and hides under the kitchen table, upset by the noise. Flop adapts a pair of oven mitts into 'ear gloves' so Bing can step back to the window and enjoy the rest of the fireworks safely, and Bing recaps the lesson to the viewer at the end.

The Jökulhlaup Is on Us

Molly, an Alaska Native girl, learns that a glacial flood called a jokulhlaup could wash away Auntie Cecilia's old fishing cabin by Lake Kaya. Using Nina's 3D topographical map, Molly and her friends find higher ground out of the flood zone, then work out how to slide the cabin there on a bed of logs. The cabin is moved safely and Molly discovers the family doll she lost as a baby. The episode ends with the family settling the cabin into its new home.

The Meteor Shower

On a night on Puffin Rock, young puffin Una and her family and friends set out to watch the August meteor shower together. Along the way they gather hedgehogs, owls and others heading for the sand dunes, while a narrator explains how shooting stars are made. When Una learns her friend Silky is too worried to come, she leaves the show to reassure her and offers to stay by her side. Silky joins them, the friends welcome her with a berry, and the whole island watches the meteor shower together.

Here I Go

Bing, a young rabbit, and his friend Pando find a new climbing frame at the park with steps, a tippy tunnel, a rope ladder and a wobbly bridge. At the top, Bing is scared of the very high slide and tells his carer Flop he does not like it. With Flop's patience, and after watching Pando and the toy Hoppity Voosh go down first, Bing slides down himself and enjoys it. He ends by recapping that when you are scared, you can watch someone else try first.

Starry, Starry Night

Doc offers to fix her friend Henry's new telescope so he can watch a meteor shower, and inside her toy clinic it appears as Aurora, a toy telescope who cannot see clearly. Doc runs an eye exam, diagnoses 'blurry star-itis' and works out that an eyepiece is missing. The toys search the dark yard, find the missing piece, and fit it back so Aurora can see. Everyone returns in time to watch the meteor shower together through the repaired telescope.

In the Dark of Day

Molly, Trini and Oscar walk home from school in an Alaska village where the winter sun sets in the early afternoon, and Oscar is sure a monster is waiting in the dark. The friends look up sunset times on a weather website, learn about the winter solstice, and try several plans to face the creature. Auntie Midge tells a story about a wolf pup who overcomes its fear of the dark by finding a pack. Emboldened by his friends, Oscar finally confronts the monster and finds it is just a large pile of snow.

The Harvest Spirit

During a Harvest Festival dinner in the town of Sturdy Stone, Pinecone questions why everyone hides indoors from a Harvest Spirit no one has ever seen. She, her unicorn Pony and their friend Hawthorn set out on a nighttime quest, following an eerie moaning sound through the streets and into the swamp. They discover the sound comes from jilly-toads driven out of their flooded home by the town's heavy festival float. The town moves the float, frees the toads and celebrates together, agreeing to keep the tradition without harming the swamp.

The Creek

Bored with the playground, Bluey, Bingo and their friend Mackenzie ask Dad to play, and he walks them into the bush to a creek. Along the way they navigate bugs, a leech, uneven ground and wobbly stepping stones, with Dad coaxing a nervous Bluey to jump a wide gap. At the creek they watch tadpoles, splash about and set up a pretend mud day spa. They head home tired and happy, with Dad reminding them to check for ticks.

The First Snow

On a snowy morning on Puffin Rock, young puffin Una and her baby brother Baba see snow for the first time and play with their animal friends. When a snowstorm blows in, Baba grows cold and is briefly lost, so the animals band together and follow Mossy to shelter. They all make it back to the warm burrow, where Baba finally gets his breakfast. A narrator guides the story from the family waking to the cozy reunion at home.
