Forever Castle

On a sunny beach, two children named Sonia and their sibling build what they call the biggest sandcastle they have ever made, only for the waves to keep washing it away. They try one idea after another, digging a moat, raising a wall, even asking their dad to lie down as a barrier, and finally the whole family helps move the castle. When a wave takes it anyway, their grandmother reminds them that as long as there is sand they can always build a new one. The episode closes with the family planning an even bigger castle and an upbeat adventure song.

The Royal Sandcastle Builders

At a sunny beach, King Friday sets out to build a royal sandcastle but keeps getting frustrated when it does not work. Donkey Hodie and Purple Panda join him as the Royal Sandcastle Builders and discover that each of them calms down a different way, by running in small circles, by playing the bongos, or by doing a slow stretch. Once they have managed their frustration, they work out that adding water makes the sand hold together. They finish a castle that looks just like King Friday's real one.

Piano

Three animal friends, Ela the fox, Hari the hippo, and Seren the bat, play in a pop-up-book world while a narrator runs a word game. The day's word is 'piano,' and Ela is chosen to find it. She works out that a piano must stay dry and so should be indoors, then searches a house, mistaking a spoon and some saucepan lids for the answer before discovering the real piano. She returns to tell her friends what she found, and the group says goodbye.

Duck, who loves new things, and Goose, who loves their familiar meadow, hear from a passing bluebird about the beach. After some back and forth, Goose agrees to go, and the two spend the day exploring sand, seaweed, a crab and the waves. They build a sandcastle, watch it wash away, and rebuild it, and Goose finally finds a hollow shell that echoes the sound of home. They head back to the meadow together, each glad the other is exactly who they are.

At a sunny Australian beach, Bluey finds a special shell and sets off alone to show it to Mum, who is further along the sand. Imagining herself as a mermaid with legs from King Neptune, she follows Mum's footprints, meets crabs, a jellyfish and a pelican, and pushes on when a wave washes the path away. She reaches Mum, who praises her for coming all that way by herself. The episode closes with Bluey reflecting that she loves walking by herself.

The Best Shell

On the island of Puffin Rock, baby puffin Baba picks up a shell that turns out to belong to Bernie the hermit crab. His big sister Una realises the mistake and leads a search across the beach and grotto to find Bernie and return it. While they are away the tide comes in and washes the shell into a rock pool, and Una wades out to recover it. Bernie forgives the puffins, settles back into his best shell, and the day ends with everyone reunited.

Pete at the Beach

Pete the Cat and his family drive to the beach, where his older brother Bob plans to teach him to surf. Pete secretly fears the big waves, so he stalls by playing in the sand and burying himself to stay cool, while his mom quietly senses something is wrong. Bob figures out the problem, admits he was once scared too, and slowly introduces Pete to the water. Pete rides his first wave, falls, tries again and finishes the day surfing happily as the sun goes down.

X Marks the Bot

A young robot named Doug joins his friend Emma, who is playing Pirate Captain, for a treasure hunt that moves from her attic bedroom to a sandy beach. Together with Emma's dad they dig through the sand, turning up shells, broken binoculars and a buried surfboard instead of gold. When Emma feels defeated, the children realize the litter they collected can be rebuilt at the Rebots booth into a spyglass, compass and treasure chest. The episode ends with Doug giving Emma a shell he shaped himself and both agreeing they had a treasure of a day.

Sandcastles

At the beach, Sally the cat sets out to build the biggest sandcastle in the world, one to 'last forever,' while her friends build a sand city nearby. When the tide starts rising, the group tries a wall, a mountain of sand, and a hole to drain the ocean, but nothing holds the water back. The castle is washed away and Sally is heartbroken, until Pete and the others comfort her with the idea that the day lives on as a memory. The episode ends with a song about sandcastles and memories and a plan to come back and build again tomorrow.
