On the morning of Duck's birthday, Sarah decides to bake him a cake. After Duck picks an unusual 'bread cake' from the recipe book, Sarah gathers ingredients and starts mixing, only for batter to ruin the open recipe. The cake itself speaks up and dictates the remaining steps while a parcel arrives from Sarah's grandmother containing roller skates for Duck. Once baked, Sarah, Duck and the talking cake head to the park, where everyone sings a birthday song together.

Zou

Zou The Chef

Zou, a young zebra, decides to bake a cake and draw a card for his mother on Mother's Day. With Grandma's guidance he mixes butter, eggs and flour and ices a finished cake, while his friend Elzee makes a card alongside him. Dad accidentally eats the cake before Mom returns, so Zou attempts a second one alone and ends up covered in flour. Mom comes home, helps him clean up and finish a new cake, and the episode ends with the whole family wishing each mother in the house a happy Mother's Day.

Do, Re & Mi

Raspberry Cupcakes

Ray welcomes a group of young chicks to her cooking class in Bebopsburg to make raspberry cupcakes, with Do and Mi helping out. The chicks would rather play than mix, so Ray decides to sing her instructions, but her first version is far too loud and sends them into hiding, the next is too soft to hear, then one is too quick to follow and another so slow that several chicks doze off. Maestro Moon explains what dynamics and tempo mean, and Ray keeps adjusting until she finds a version the chicks can actually follow. The class finishes their cupcakes and the episode ends with a taste test.

Handy Manny

Stretch's Cookies

Manny and his team of talking tools drive through their town and stop to help Mrs. Portillo, whose new oven is too big to fit through her door. She needs it working to bake her ombligos cookies for the town baking contest. The group tries several approaches, the front door, a window, cutting the doorway, and the garage, learning from each failure before measuring the oven and removing a set of doors to wheel it into the kitchen. The episode ends with the oven installed and everyone sharing Mrs. Portillo's cookies.

Max & Ruby

Max's Bath

Rabbit siblings Max and Ruby spend the episode at home after Max gets covered in green muffin batter in the kitchen. Ruby decides he needs a bath, fills the tub, and works to wash him clean, but Max keeps finding new ways to get messy again. The story moves between the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom, with Ruby leading every step. In the end Max is finally clean and dry.

Zou

Zou Leaves Home

Zou, a young zebra, is told off by his mum for being too noisy as he plays a monster game in his bedroom, so he announces he is leaving home. He says goodbye in turn to grandma, who shares a lipstick keepsake, and to grandpa, who lends him an old rucksack, a compass and a torch and helps bake chocolate chip cookies with mum. On the way out he meets his best friend Elzee, who offers to help tidy the messy bedroom that started the trouble, and Zou heads back. The episode closes with the family sharing dinner and Zou saying he is glad he stayed.

If You Give a Mouse a Cookie

Mouse Minds the Store

Mouse wants a bubble bath but discovers everyone is out of it, so he heads to the neighbourhood store. When he finds Mr. Abernathy closing up to see his kid's dance recital, Mouse and Pig volunteer to run the store and call in Moose, Cat and Dog to help. The friends redecorate, bake and welcome shoppers, turning it into a lively store the whole town enjoys. As thanks, Mr. Abernathy gives them the bubble bath, and Mouse finally heads home to take his bath with Oliver.

Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom

Fun and Games

Ben the elf helps his mum bake cupcakes in the family kitchen, and his friend Holly the fairy princess joins in with the stirring. While the cakes bake, the two go outside and play tag and hide-and-seek, and Holly keeps slipping into flying and magic despite promising to play fair. When the cupcakes come out of the oven, everyone agrees the time flew by because they were having fun. The episode ends with the friends sharing cakes and Ben showing a trick.

Ada Twist Scientist

Cake Twist

Ada Twist realises her mom forgot her parents' anniversary, so she and her friends Rosie and Iggy set out to recreate her dad's secret chocolate surprise cake. Treating baking as science, they test ingredients and fail twice before the right amounts produce a cake with an accidental twist of sprinkles inside. Her dad loves it at the anniversary dinner, calling the happy accident better than the original. The episode closes with a real pastry chef in her kitchen explaining how baking soda makes cookies rise.

Andy Pandy

The Birthday Cake

Andy Pandy finds a birthday card that Looby Loo has secretly left in his cupboard, and rather than waste it he asks each of his friends whether they would like a birthday. When they all say no for their own reasons, he and Teddy decide to throw Looby Loo a surprise party. Andy makes an unusual ice cream cake from his favourite foods while Teddy hangs the borrowed decorations. The toys gather in the garden for the party, where Looby Loo turns up with a proper cake of her own.

If You Give a Mouse a Cookie

Muffin Party

Moose decides to throw a muffin party, but after the muffins are eaten and his recipe card gets soaked, one ingredient becomes impossible to read. With help from Mouse, Cat and Piper, who spots a buttery hoofprint clue, and plenty of encouragement, Moose bakes the muffins anyway and improvises the final ingredient himself. His guests love the 'freewheeling muffins', and Moose is proud he pulled it off. The episode closes with the series refrain asking what happens next.
