He talks directly to the child throughout, asking where things should go and thanking them for helping. At the end he admires the tidy room and says goodbye until next time.

Tig, a young girl, narrates the day baby Ben comes to stay at her family home. She is excited at first but feels pushed aside as her mommy spends the day caring for the baby, and she tells her toy spider Woolly that she wishes Ben would go away. Woolly encourages her to help instead, and together they gather nappies, wipes and a bottle and help mommy change Ben. By the end Tig says she likes helping, likes baby Ben, and loves Woolly.

Two tractors, helpful young Otis and older, stiffer Rusty, decide to hold a harvest moon dance on their farm. They clear a cluttered hayfield, and when the radio breaks they gather friends to make instruments from a bucket, a jug and a washboard. Rusty grows sad when he is too creaky for his old jump-and-spin dance, so Otis helps him invent a slower wiggle dance called 'The Rusty.' The episode ends with the whole farm dancing together.

Voo Voo

At breakfast, Bing's toy car knocks over a box of Krispos and spills them across the kitchen floor. With his carer Flop, Bing uses the vacuum cleaner Voo Voo to clear the mess, but the car gets sucked up along with the cereal. Flop opens a hatch in Voo Voo to retrieve the car and reminds Bing that accidents happen and to be careful what gets cleaned up. Bing recaps the morning to the viewer at the end.

Tractor Ted, an animated green tractor, and Midge the dog join Farmer Tom for a day on a sheep farm. The barn is cleaned out, the ewes are milked, and a vet checks a sheep's sore foot before fresh straw is laid down for a clean bed. Children then visit a pen of newborn lambs, petting them and helping to feed them. The day ends with Farmer Tom back at the farmhouse and Tractor Ted saying goodbye.

Chip and Nico's Fun Day

Chip the pug spends a special Fun Day at her Happy Hoppers preschool, where the class bounces on trampolines under three safety rules. Eager to master a seat drop, Chip talks her friend Nico into letting her bounce without a grown-up watching, falls and hurts her tail, and both end up cleaning the cafeteria as a consequence. Nico blames Chip and the friends fall out, leaving Chip guilty and unsure if they are still best friends. She goes home, talks it over with her mama, and brings Nico a 'sorry' cake, but he is already asleep, so she resolves to make up with him the next day.

Ariel, a young mermaid, is told it is chore day and draws the task of cleaning her messy room. Wanting to play sooner, she lets her friend Lucia cast a magic cleanup spell, but the sponge it creates multiplies and spreads mess across the whole undersea palace. The friends try several ways to stop the sponges before leading them out to the open ocean with a kelp-covered Flounder as bait. Ariel admits her father was right that magic does not replace doing the job herself, and the friends form a 'clean team' to tidy the palace by hand.

Mel's Greatest Treasure

In a colorful town park, Mel and her friends play as treasure hunters and make a big mess of their art supplies. When Mel's handmade treasure chest goes missing, Barney the purple dinosaur helps her search through a larger-than-life adventure, and they discover the park cleaner, Grady, swept it up by mistake. Mel gets back the chest and the picture inside it of playing with her friends. She then admits she made the mess and cleans up the park, deciding the park itself is their greatest treasure.

Everybody All Aboard the Ninky Nonk

A live-action puppet show set in a magical 'night garden' that the narrator describes as the place between waking and sleeping. The Ninky Nonk train arrives, and Iggle Piggle, Upsy Daisy, the Tombliboos and others take turns climbing aboard for a bouncy ride. Makka Pakka turns up to wash the Ninky Nonk rather than ride it, and the titifers sing their song. At the close, the narrator wishes every character goodnight one by one until only sleeping figures remain.

Three Little Kittens

Three kitten siblings, children dressed in cat costumes, play in a bright park and turn to their mother through a sung version of the classic 'Three Little Kittens' rhyme. Across four verses they lose their mittens and are told they will get no pie, find them and earn some pie, then soil and wash them. The mother moves from calling them naughty to praising them as good kittens, ending on the line 'I smell a rat close by'. The story is told entirely through song and repeats its melody in each verse.
