The barn is the very place Craig has feared since a past run-in with a vulture. He faces that fear, comes down to perform his song at the show, and the group names the new spot The Vulture's Nest.

There they meet a boy who guards the junk and calls them thieves, leading to a chase they escape by shedding some of their load. Back home, Craig sorts his treasures and keeps only what he needs, ending with his mom handing down a scarf.

At the end the book's author reveals it is thirty years out of date, so Sandy sets no records, while SpongeBob earns one for the most injuries sustained helping a friend.

In the underwater town of Bikini Bottom, a spiny sea urchin gets loose in the Krusty Krab kitchen and terrorises the staff. After a robot, a disguise and other plans fail, they freeze the kitchen to catch the urchin and carry it far away. The episode ends with the urchin, now with babies, right back where the trouble started.
