New Classmate

Eddie, a young boy, learns that a new girl named Frida is joining his class and worries that his familiar routines will change. Guided by a calm narrator through chapters called Preparing, Welcome, Changes and Being kind, he watches classmates make welcome cards, practises greeting someone new, and eventually offers Frida his rocket toy when she looks unsure. Set almost entirely in a colourful classroom, the story follows his shift from resisting change to accepting it. By the end Eddie says he is really glad Frida is there and is ready for a new classmate.

Bea's Block

New Kid on the Block

When a moving truck brings a new family to the block, Bea and her friends welcome the new kid, Priya, with homemade cookies. Priya cannot find her favourite puppets among the moving boxes and grows worried, so the friends form a 'kindness club' and play detectives to track them down. They follow clues, a smiley face on the box, its large size, and the oink of a piggy bank inside, until they open the right box. Priya reunites with her puppets and the group welcomes her to the neighbourhood.

Woolly and Tig

The Dance Class

Tig, a young girl, goes to her first ballet class with her toy spider Woolly. She is put off when the teacher, Miss Lofty, calls out her instructions, so she sits at the side with Woolly instead of joining in. Woolly explains that the teacher is not cross but is making herself heard over the piano, and Tig works this out for herself and takes part. At the end Miss Lofty gives her a crown and names her a fairy princess.

Get Rolling with Otis

A New Truck in Town

Otis, a red farm tractor, spends the day doing chores with his friend Celeste, a young pink piglet, on a country farm. When Kevin, a big new truck, arrives and turns out to be faster and stronger at every job, Otis begins to worry that no one needs him anymore. The turning point comes when Celeste gets stuck in sticky mud and is frightened, and Otis makes a plan and teams up with Kevin to pull her out. By the end Otis sees that he still matters, and the friends welcome Kevin to the farm.

Moon and Me

Everybody In The Tub!

Pepi Nana, a doll who comes to life when the moon shines, writes a letter inviting the moon to tea, and Moon Baby travels down to wake the toy friends in their toy house. When a little toy tub appears, Moon Baby catches it, and the friends imagine a Storyland adventure in which Moon Baby chases and catches a great big tub. Back in the toy house the friends agree they have made a lovely story together. The episode ends with a calm goodnight to each character as the moon sends everyone to sleep.

Learn to Read

Ms Rachel hosts a long letter-learning session that teaches the sounds of A and T and blends them into the word 'at'. Between direct-to-camera lessons she opens surprise eggs, plays a lava-jumping letter game, reads the storybook 'Cat and His Mat', visits a library and sings songs with a rotating cast of adults and children. Guest hosts like Miss Keisha and Michael the librarian appear in short segments. It closes with a message that big feelings are okay and a goodbye song.

A group of young sea creatures discover a playhouse and each takes on a role: a king, a cook and a house painter. Puri cannot decide what to be and feels unsure, then stumbles on what looks like a scary thing hiding inside. It turns out to be a friendly sea spider whose companions love to dance. Puri overcomes his fear and decides to be the spider friend, finding a place of his own.

Luna Digs Deep

Her urge keeps breaking through and causing messes, leaving her feeling she let the team down. When a boulder blocks an incoming train, the crew tries to smash and move it before deciding to dig a tunnel underneath. Luna leads the dig with her scoop, the train gets through safely with its cargo of pupsicles, and everyone agrees there is a time and a place to dig.
