Spot the Ladybird

On a spring day on Puffin Rock, young Una feels unwell and must stay home while her baby brother Baba goes ladybird spotting with friends Mossy and May. When they realise Una cannot join them, they decide to bring a ladybird to her instead, and Baba quietly gathers wildflowers so one will land on him. Papa keeps Una company at home with a story until she feels better. The episode ends with Baba proudly presenting Una a twenty-two-spotted ladybird he attracted with his flowers.

What Will Little Bear Wear?

Little Bear wants to play in the falling snow, but keeps coming back inside to tell Mother Bear he is cold. One by one she closes her eyes and makes him a hat, a coat and snow pants, and finally hands back his own fur. Outside he builds a snow bear all by himself, adding buttons, a hat and Father Bear's scarf. In the end he realises that playing has warmed him up and he is not cold at all.

The Salmon Leap

On the island of Puffin Rock, young puffin Oona and her friend Adam invite the owl Otto to the waterfall to watch salmon leap upstream at sunrise. First the little owlets Pip and Pop, and Oona's baby brother Baba, must be settled to sleep, so the friends try soft bedding, a game and counting sheep without success. They finally realise the owlets stayed awake because no one said goodnight, and once tucked in the babies drift off. The friends rush to the waterfall and just catch the salmon leaping before the sun climbs too high.

Small Uncle's Big Bath

Jessica discovers that her beloved plush toy, Small Uncle, has gotten dirty from all their play, and her mother says he is too filthy to snuggle at bedtime. Insisting she is a big kid, Jessica takes charge and washes him at the kitchen sink, working through five clear steps: undressing, testing the water, soaping, rinsing and drying. Along the way the toy jokes and squirms, but Jessica keeps him on track. In the end Mommy declares Small Uncle clean, and Jessica snuggles him to sleep after promising to take better care of all her toys.

On a spring day on Puffin Rock, little puffling Baba discovers a hibernating hedgehog and decides to stay beside it until it wakes. His older sister Una and their rabbit friend May take turns checking on him while exploring worms, frogspawn and new flowers around the island. May offers to babysit so Una can play, and everyone slowly understands that Baba wants the hedgehog to enjoy spring with them. By evening the hedgehog stirs and the family gathers to enjoy the season together.

Spike the Hedgehog

Jessica agrees to look after Spike the hedgehog while her friend Stanley and Lulu fly to the Philippines to visit family. With help from her mom and Small Uncle, she learns to feed him, clean his cage, and handle him gently, discovering that banana slices coax the shy pet out. When Spike escapes and hides under the bed, Jessica recalls Stanley's advice and lures him back safely. Stanley returns to a happy, settled hedgehog and thanks Jessica for the great job.

Lunch Crunch

Along the way Simon has an upset moment that is calmed with a breathing exercise. By the end Simon happily tries carrots and other foods and proudly calls himself a food artist.

Curious George's Home for Pigeons

On a city balcony, the curious monkey George draws birds when a tagged homing pigeon named Compass drops in. Told the balcony isn't a good home for a pigeon, George sets out to build the bird a tree, working through pipe cleaners, clay and a pile of found materials while making a big mess indoors. In the end the doorman arrives to take his pigeon back to its real home, and George is given a real tree for birds to visit. The pigeon leaves happy and George stays as curious as ever.

They find safety tools, learn what exit signs and the emergency exit are for, and build a family fire safety plan with three steps: stop, exit, and wait at a meeting place. When Lupe is frightened by the loud alarm, a grandmother teaches a calming breathing trick. The family practices the drill, completes all three steps, and receives Safety Squad badges.

Juno's Bubble Bath Breakout

Juno, a young hippo, climbs a maple tree for a pretty leaf and ends up covered in sticky sap. Her mother takes her to Vida the vet, who works out the cause and prescribes a bubble bath, but Juno is frightened of the water. Vida guides her through small 'baby hippo steps', letting her choose the towel and bubbles and test the water, until Juno gets in and washes clean. Juno thanks Vida with the special leaf, and Vida heads home to her Papa.

The episode closes with a gentle goodbye as two sheep leave for the fields and grandfather Jamma announces he is moving in.
