Starry, Starry Night

Doc offers to fix her friend Henry's new telescope so he can watch a meteor shower, and inside her toy clinic it appears as Aurora, a toy telescope who cannot see clearly. Doc runs an eye exam, diagnoses 'blurry star-itis' and works out that an eyepiece is missing. The toys search the dark yard, find the missing piece, and fit it back so Aurora can see. Everyone returns in time to watch the meteor shower together through the repaired telescope.

Astronaut Amrita

The Helpsters, a team of puppets who run a problem-solving help shop, are asked by astronaut Amrita to deliver a birthday present to her friend Pete before she launches to the moon. They make a plan with four jobs, find out that Pete lives in a red house near the park, read a map, and give step-by-step directions to reach his door. Along the way they travel through a real city and ask neighbours for help. When they arrive, Pete opens the box to find a party, and the group celebrates completing their plan.

Too Much TV

In their woodland home, Mama Bear decides Brother and Sister are watching too much television and bans it for a week, and Papa has to give up his hockey too. Bored at first, the cubs invent a pretend cardboard TV, then start identifying birds and keeping a checklist, and the family spends a night naming stars and watching a meteor. When Saturday returns and the TV comes back on, the cubs stay just as keen on spotting birds outside. The episode ends with Brother rushing to show Sister a scarlet tanager through the binoculars.

Enough With The Seashells!

Sid brings home a school jar filled with seashells and wants to know exactly how many there are, but there are too many to count easily. Through a survey of his friends and a classroom investigation with Teacher Susie, he learns to estimate by counting out ten, picturing groups of ten and then guessing. He practices the method at home, comparing his guess of twenty-two shells to the actual twenty-eight, and tries it again at dinner with his family. The episode ends with Sid waving goodbye and imagining estimating the stars in the sky.

Rita Reader visits the helpsters Cody, Scatter and Heart because she dropped her favourite book in the bath and never learned how it ends. The team makes a three-part plan, goes to a large public library, and with a librarian's help sorts books by make-believe versus real, then by space theme, then by the cactus, lasso and balloon on the cover. They find a fresh copy of 'Sunny Rodeo Space Cowboy' and read the finale, in which Sunny throws a second lasso to catch the cactus and save the balloon planet. The episode closes with the group singing softly in the library about high fives and handshakes.

Spaced Out

StarBeam's class is on a live video call with Astronaut Luna Diaz when a meteor shower damages the astronaut's space shuttle and sends it spinning toward the moon. Zoey transforms into StarBeam and, with help from Boost in Beam Control and her pet pig Kipper, stops the shuttle, locates the lost fuel tank, and follows a colour-coded manual to reattach it. After a soft bubble landing back on Earth, Astronaut Diaz thanks StarBeam with a piece of space fruit. The episode ends with Zoey at bedtime, proud that her hero called her a hero.

Ring Around the Planet

June spots a ring fall from Saturn through her telescope, and she and her friends Leo, Quincy and Annie set out in their rocket to return it home. Along the way they push meteors away by drumming, get freed from a space jam by friendly aliens called meeps, and use singing to grow and shrink the ring. The team reaches Saturn and helps the ring settle into place around the planet. The episode closes with a curtain call that names the artist Gustav Klimt and Dvorak's Symphony No. 9.
