Manners

Picnic

When a bee visits and rain arrives, the group stays calm and turns the shower into a pretend desert-island game. Piano

Three animal friends, Ela the fox, Hari the hippo, and Seren the bat, play in a pop-up-book world while a narrator runs a word game. The day's word is 'piano,' and Ela is chosen to find it. She works out that a piano must stay dry and so should be indoors, then searches a house, mistaking a spoon and some saucepan lids for the answer before discovering the real piano. She returns to tell her friends what she found, and the group says goodbye.

Miffy's Gifts from Boris

Miffy visits her friend Boris Bear, who is sawing wooden planks in the woods. Boris shows her the table, bench and walls he has built from planks, then offers to make her something while she guesses what it will be. She guesses table, bench and box before realising it is a little wooden wagon. Boris pulls her home in her new wagon and the episode closes with a brief river scene featuring another character and a credits screen.

Abadas

Cloud

Abadas is a CBeebies show in which three animal friends, Seren, Harry and Ella, play a word game introduced by Ben, a character who lives in a book. In this episode the word is 'cloud', and Seren flies up into the sky to discover what a cloud looks like. Along the way she meets a balloon that pops and a feather that tickles before finding a real cloud that is white, floats and makes rain. The episode ends with the friends recapping what they learned and singing goodbye.

Me & Winnie the Pooh

Pooh Bear's Morning Routine

A honey-colored bear greets the viewer from his cozy tree-house home and invites them to join his morning routine. Together they do simple stretches, eat honey for breakfast, brush teeth and change into a clean hoodie, with the bear narrating each step. He talks straight to the camera and asks the child about their own morning habits along the way. The episode ends with a warm goodbye and an auto-play card leading to the next episode.

Tuesday

Ms. Monica hosts a preschool circle time, greeting the viewer directly and working through a learning board step by step. The session covers the days of the week, checks the weather and dresses a weather bear for a sunny day, introduces the letter K and the circle shape, and counts from one to ten using pencils. She finishes with a name letter song where children clap for the first letter of their name, then says goodbye until the next day. Throughout she speaks straight to the camera and invites the child to answer, sing and point along.

Library

A narrator prepares Eddie, a young boy, for a trip to the library, framed around returning his favourite book about the first Mars rover. Together they cover arriving, the library rules, browsing the sections and children's area, and reading with Dad, before Eddie chooses a new book about UFOs and aliens. He uses the self-checkout machine and drops his old book into the book drop for someone else to borrow. The episode ends by recapping each stage of the visit.

Three-year-olds start to notice that other people have feelings, though they cannot always act on it yet. Taking turns, waiting for a moment, saying sorry after knocking something over: all of it is possible now, with reminders. Look for stories where a small social bump happens and gets repaired within the same scene, calmly and without shame, so the child sees the whole arc from mistake to making it right.

Scarf Lady's House

Sarah and Duck leave a chilly park and walk home with Scarf Lady, who invites them inside her house full of scarves. Sarah hunts through rooms of wool, meets a colourful leftover wool character and rides a woolly slide while looking for a scarf to warm Duck's neck. Scarf Lady sits and knits, explaining how scarves, jumpers and hats are made. At the end, she presents Duck with a knitted pair of pants and a woolly sea cow, leaving him 'toasty' for the rest of the afternoon.

Harvey Gets the Scoop

Harvey the dog visits Dennis the octopus and his ice cream truck in a bright town. When Dennis is called away to help the pizza restaurant, Harvey offers to run the truck and learns three steps for serving customers. He struggles to remember the many flavors and changing orders, even after Ginger the cat draws pictures to help, and mixes up nearly every cone. The customers taste the jumbled results, love them, and Harvey names his happy accident 'the Harvey Surprise' just as Dennis returns to a line of cheerful customers.

Pizza Please

Harvey the dog, Ginger the cat and Robin the bird head to a pizza restaurant, but it is full and they must wait outside for a table. Robin cannot stop thinking about pizza, so her friends try a guessing game, a book and a game of catch to help her wait, and finally a pizza song keeps her happy. When their table is ready, Dennis serves them a pizza shaped like Robin and they sing a song about being thankful. The episode closes with a separate counting song led by a dancing octopus.

Jack and Olivia's Big Bus Adventure

Jack, the host of a kindness show, helps a girl named Olivia who feels nervous about her first school bus ride. At the Hummingbird Cafe he gives her a practice ride, a toy bus buddy and encouragement from friends until she climbs aboard the real bus on her own. When Olivia leaves her lunch behind, Jack rushes it to the class at the farmer's market. There they watch how sunflower seeds are turned into sunflower butter, and the episode closes with a song about spreading kindness.

Peppa Pig

The School Fete

Peppa Pig and her family visit the school fete, where she meets her friends and picks her favourite parts of the day. The children get their faces painted as tigers by Miss Rabbit and learn from Candy Cat how tigers move, then choose animal balloons from Madame Gazelle. When there is no dinosaur balloon for George, Daddy Pig shapes two long balloons into one. The day ends with everyone bouncing together on the bouncy castle.

Chip and Potato

Flingos' Show

Chip the pug attends the Flingos' synchronized swimming show at the Happytown Recreation Center. When her mother has to step in at reception, Chip takes on the job of photographing the show for friends who could not come. She tries several spots without luck until the Flingos invite her to shoot from the pool, where she gets the photos and ends up joining the routine herself. Her pictures are posted online, and a classmate captures a shot of Chip as the surprise star.

Meekah

Meekah Flips on a Trampoline at Skyzone

Meekah visits a trampoline park to learn how to do a flip. She picks out grippy socks, counts the trampolines, jumps into a foam pit, and tries shooting baskets while she searches for an instructor named Quincy. When she finds him, he leads her through warm-ups and somersaults and shows a front flip, reminding her to only try one with a grown-up. Meekah decides to keep practicing and closes by inviting viewers to look up her name.

For 4-year-olds

By four, a child can think about the other person before acting, and begins to sense that manners shift with the situation: quieter indoors, gentler with someone younger, more patient in a group. Negotiating and apologising become real skills rather than copied phrases. Look for series with a bit more social texture, where characters talk things through, misread each other sometimes, and work out a fair solution together.

Bluey

Wagon Ride

Bandit pulls his daughters Bluey and Bingo, plus their toy giraffe Jasmine, in a red wagon through their suburban neighbourhood on the way to the monkey bars. Along the route Dad keeps stopping to chat with neighbours, and Bluey grows impatient and interrupts, so Dad teaches her to rest a hand on his arm and wait. Bluey practises the signal and succeeds, while Bingo invents a pretend bus when the wagon 'breaks down.' The episode ends with the family arriving at the monkey bars and Bingo still happily playing bus.

Neighbours

Bluey and Bingo build houses out of couch cushions and pretend to be neighbours on a make-believe street, soon joined by Mum and Dad. As each sister keeps expanding into the other's space, Bluey learns to solve the clashes by asking nicely instead of arguing. Dad plays a loud, lonely neighbour who admits he just wants company. By the end the animals and pets are traded and rehomed, and the family settles happily onto their pretend street.
