Cake Bake

After Duck picks an unusual 'bread cake' from the recipe book, Sarah gathers ingredients and starts mixing, only for batter to ruin the open recipe. The cake itself speaks up and dictates the remaining steps while a parcel arrives from Sarah's grandmother containing roller skates for Duck. Once baked, Sarah, Duck and the talking cake head to the park, where everyone sings a birthday song together.

Spot the Ladybird

On a spring day on Puffin Rock, young Una feels unwell and must stay home while her baby brother Baba goes ladybird spotting with friends Mossy and May. When they realise Una cannot join them, they decide to bring a ladybird to her instead, and Baba quietly gathers wildflowers so one will land on him. Papa keeps Una company at home with a story until she feels better. The episode ends with Baba proudly presenting Una a twenty-two-spotted ladybird he attracted with his flowers.

ABCs with Blue

Josh, a live-action host, and his animated puppy Blue play a game of Blue's Clues to figure out which book Blue wants to read. Across warmly colored rooms they hunt for three clues, a moon, a cow and the word jump, writing each in the handy dandy notebook and helping a neighbor with groceries along the way. Josh spells words aloud, reads picture sentences with the viewer and fixes jumbled ones like 'The ball threw a girl.' In the thinking chair he combines the clues to name the book as 'Hey Diddle Diddle', then closes with a goodbye song.

Fishing with Father Bear

They pack a picnic, row out in a boat, and Father Bear teaches Little Bear to be his first mate, showing him how to row and cast a line. They reel in only a small fish, and the day ends with the two of them playing and splashing together in the water.

Max's Rainy Day

The Meteor Shower

Silky joins them, the friends welcome her with a berry, and the whole island watches the meteor shower together.

Happy Birthday Blue

Glazed Frost

They start with a quick snowball exchange, then improvise tennis-racket snowshoes, dig out a snowed-in door from both sides, build a small snow plough and sweep a path around the yard. After one neighbor is briefly buried in snow they shake him off and build a giant snowman together, before the sun melts everything by the end of the episode.

Zou The Chef

With Grandma's guidance he mixes butter, eggs and flour and ices a finished cake, while his friend Elzee makes a card alongside him. Mom comes home, helps him clean up and finish a new cake, and the episode ends with the whole family wishing each mother in the house a happy Mother's Day.

Jay's Fit

The Salmon Leap

They finally realise the owlets stayed awake because no one said goodnight, and once tucked in the babies drift off. The friends rush to the waterfall and just catch the salmon leaping before the sun climbs too high.
