What Will Little Bear Wear?

Little Bear wants to play in the falling snow, but keeps coming back inside to tell Mother Bear he is cold. One by one she closes her eyes and makes him a hat, a coat and snow pants, and finally hands back his own fur. Outside he builds a snow bear all by himself, adding buttons, a hat and Father Bear's scarf. In the end he realises that playing has warmed him up and he is not cold at all.

Hide and Seek

Through the evening he keeps calling for Mother Bear, who patiently brings water, cools him down and reassures him, and he meets a friendly Cat who likes the dark. In the end Mother Bear agrees to wait with him for the sunrise, but he falls asleep first. He wakes to morning sure that he saw the sunrise and his father waving, and Father Bear comes home.

Little Bear's Bath

A Flu

His mother returns, sends the visitors out so he can rest, and cleans him up. By evening he feels normal again and jokes about pretending to still be sick to get out of helping clean.

Mother Bear explains the noise was only an echo, and together they return to find the tree with the carved initials still there. The story plays out in a gentle watercolor forest world.
