Spot the Ladybird

On a spring day on Puffin Rock, young Una feels unwell and must stay home while her baby brother Baba goes ladybird spotting with friends Mossy and May. When they realise Una cannot join them, they decide to bring a ladybird to her instead, and Baba quietly gathers wildflowers so one will land on him. Papa keeps Una company at home with a story until she feels better. The episode ends with Baba proudly presenting Una a twenty-two-spotted ladybird he attracted with his flowers.

Meet Josh!

Sitting in his thinking chair, he reasons that cows make milk, so Blue wants milk poured in a cup to drink with a straw. The episode ends with a snack party and a closing song.

Hide and Seek

There he surprises Mother Bear with a playful 'Boo!' at the washing line.

One by one she closes her eyes and makes him a hat, a coat and snow pants, and finally hands back his own fur. Outside he builds a snow bear all by himself, adding buttons, a hat and Father Bear's scarf. In the end he realises that playing has warmed him up and he is not cold at all.

Big News with Blue

Jessica's Restaurant

By evening the hedgehog stirs and the family gathers to enjoy the season together.

The Thumbsucker

Jessica, a young girl living with her family, realises she sucks her thumb without noticing and decides to stop so she can do 'big kid things'. Over one afternoon at home she tries a string of plans, a mitten, sour and yucky flavours, even wrapping herself up, and fails each time before asking her dad and uncle for help. Her uncle suggests keeping her hands busy, and she starts coloring to redirect the urge. By the next TV night she gets through a whole show without sucking her thumb and her brother tells her he is proud of her.
