The episode ends with the whole group singing, blowing out candles and eating birthday cake.

Siblings Phoebe and Jay are getting ready for a big family photo for their apartment building's neighbor wall. After spilled hair gel stains Dad's tie and Jay slips into a muddy puddle, the children head to the building's Pass-It-On table to put together a new outfit. Phoebe acts as Jay's stylist, and with help from neighbor Manny they learn to read the size tags on clothing to find pants, a jacket, and a shirt that fit. The family finally gathers for the photo at the end.

The Tidy-Up

Twins Stan and Olivia realise their playroom is too messy to enjoy, so they set out to tidy it. They try one method, grouping toys by type, then a fussy method that mixes them up, before agreeing to sort every book, car and stuffed toy into red, blue and yellow teams. When their multicolored Leonardo toy fits no team, their friend Puff shares a piece of rainbow to make a multicolored team. The room ends clean and the twins go back to playing.

Birthday Soup

It is Little Bear's birthday, and he believes his mother has forgotten, so he decides to make Birthday Soup for any friends who might visit. After a quiet walk through the forest, he gathers vegetables and cooks a large pot of soup in the cottage kitchen. Hen, Duck and Cat arrive one by one and sit down together at the table to share the meal. Mother Bear returns with a birthday cake, showing she remembered all along.

Pocoyo

A Present for Elly

In this episode Pocoyo learns it is Elly's birthday and decides to make her a present himself. On a plain pastel stage he gathers shapes and builds them into a large pink Elly, then works out that it is missing its trunk and puts it in the right place. A narrator guides the story and invites the child to guess along about the birthday and the missing piece. Pocoyo delivers the finished gift and the friends sing happy birthday to Elly.

A Present for Mother Bear

Little Bear, a young cub, decides he wants to give his mother a special present. He sets off through the forest and visits his friends Hen, Owl, Duck and Cat, gathering ideas and picking wildflowers along the way. Back at the cottage, the friends come together for a celebration with music in Mother Bear's honour. Little Bear hands her a large bouquet and she gathers him into a warm hug.

Arcade

After Moose wins a box of muffins at the café, he and Mouse head to the neighbourhood arcade with their friends, only to find it closing for repairs. Moose decides to build a homemade arcade in the backyard, and the friends craft games out of flower pots, cardboard boxes and a bucket. They test the games on Henry, discover they are too easy, and rework them with obstacles and traps until they feel just right. The episode ends with the finished arcade opened up to visitors from the community center and the show's closing theme song.

On Puffin Rock, puffins Una and Baba join Mossy the pygmy shrew, three owlets and Mae the rabbit for a play date in a secret den. Mossy's flea, Fred, keeps making him scratch and smell, so one by one the friends leave the den, and the noise outside wakes Flynn the grumpy fox. Mossy saves the day by making Fred jump onto Flynn, which makes her laugh instead of stay cross. He then lets the flea go for Una's sake, and the whole group, fox included, ends up playing together.

Square's Very Kind Gesture

Square finds a rare banana tree with two bananas and decides to give one to his friend Circle so he can be known for a kind gesture. Each time he tries, Circle passes the spare banana on to Triangle, and Square ends up with neither the fruit nor the praise he hoped for. He waits for the tree to grow again, rehearses his plan, and keeps trying. By the end he finally eats one banana at a picnic, still weighing whether to share the other.

Alma's New Kicks

Alma, a young girl in a city neighborhood, needs new soccer cleats after she outgrows her old ones, and her mother gives her a fresh pair. At the park she becomes so worried about getting them dirty that she first switches back to her painful old shoes and then avoids kicking the ball, which costs her team. Her friend Rafia shows her that scuff marks are 'memories' from playing, and Alma decides to play freely. Her team scores the winning goal, and afterward she happily passes the well-worn cleats on to her little brother.

A curious Mouse decides he wants a game his own size, so he turns a stick, an acorn and a hoop into a new game he calls Hoopla. One idea leads to another as he finds the right ball, a bigger field, team costumes and extra players from around the neighbourhood. Friends like Oliver, Pig, Dog, Cat and Chef Moose all pitch in, and it builds to a cheerful Hoopla championship. It ends with Mouse giving away his signed Hoopla stick and the story looping back to a new stick.
