Cake Bake

On the morning of Duck's birthday, Sarah decides to bake him a cake. After Duck picks an unusual 'bread cake' from the recipe book, Sarah gathers ingredients and starts mixing, only for batter to ruin the open recipe. The cake itself speaks up and dictates the remaining steps while a parcel arrives from Sarah's grandmother containing roller skates for Duck. Once baked, Sarah, Duck and the talking cake head to the park, where everyone sings a birthday song together.

Fort Yaber

Phoebe and Jay are siblings who want to surprise their friend Manny by building a pillow fort while he is away doing chores. Using a diagram Manny drew, they gather blankets, pillows and couch cushions, but their first attempt collapses because they ignore the order of the steps. With encouragement from their dad, they realize the numbers on the diagram show the sequence, rebuild the fort correctly, and add their own touches to make it bigger. Manny returns to find the finished fort, and the family wraps up with a playful pretend gator chase.

Happy Birthday Blue

Glazed Frost

They start with a quick snowball exchange, then improvise tennis-racket snowshoes, dig out a snowed-in door from both sides, build a small snow plough and sweep a path around the yard. After one neighbor is briefly buried in snow they shake him off and build a giant snowman together, before the sun melts everything by the end of the episode.

What Will Little Bear Wear?

Little Bear wants to play in the falling snow, but keeps coming back inside to tell Mother Bear he is cold. One by one she closes her eyes and makes him a hat, a coat and snow pants, and finally hands back his own fur. Outside he builds a snow bear all by himself, adding buttons, a hat and Father Bear's scarf. In the end he realises that playing has warmed him up and he is not cold at all.

Paper Rocketship

Siblings Phoebe and Jay are set to watch a real rocket launch from their apartment building, but rain cancels it. Their neighbour Mr. Gurley shows them his record paper airplane that flew twenty feet, and teaches them to measure distance in feet. The children fold and launch their own paper rockets again and again, measuring each flight and adjusting the design. After several short attempts they finally fly one thirty-two feet, setting a new building record and earning a spot in the showcase.

After spilled hair gel stains Dad's tie and Jay slips into a muddy puddle, the children head to the building's Pass-It-On table to put together a new outfit. The family finally gathers for the photo at the end.

Up a Tree

He sketches a plan, tests materials, and gathers wood and nails from neighbours, working through problems with the floor, walls and roof largely on his own. When the Man with the Yellow Hat and the neighbours realise George borrowed a wall and nails without asking, George has to take the house apart and give everything back. He then rebuilds it properly and finally gets to make his own house rules.

Swept Away

Pocoyo builds a block tower and knocks it down, then learns that his friend Ellie is coming over to play. A warm narrator reminds him to clean up, and Pocoyo grabs a broom, which he first turns into a pretend horse, hockey stick and guitar, making even more mess. In the end he uses that same playful energy to sweep the blocks away just in time. Ellie arrives and the two play together.
