Cheer Up Donkey

Sarah and Duck are looking after Donkey in the back garden while Scarf Lady is at the shops, and Donkey appears sad. Sarah tries a carrot, music on her tuber and a trip to the bread shop, but nothing changes his face. They visit the library, find a book about donkeys and learn that donkeys naturally look sad even when they are happy. After a walk in the park, Duck reveals he was upset because Sarah had buried his bread for him, and Scarf Lady returns to collect a contented Donkey.

Hide and Seek

In a woodland home, Little Bear and his friends Duck, Hen, Cat, and Owl decide to play hide-and-seek, and Duck finally gets his wish to be the seeker. He closes his eyes and counts to ten while the others hide, then searches the forest, finding each friend by spotting footprints and following sounds. Once everyone is found, Little Bear heads home. There he surprises Mother Bear with a playful 'Boo!' at the washing line.

Paper Rocketship

Siblings Phoebe and Jay are set to watch a real rocket launch from their apartment building, but rain cancels it. Their neighbour Mr. Gurley shows them his record paper airplane that flew twenty feet, and teaches them to measure distance in feet. The children fold and launch their own paper rockets again and again, measuring each flight and adjusting the design. After several short attempts they finally fly one thirty-two feet, setting a new building record and earning a spot in the showcase.

The Salmon Leap

On the island of Puffin Rock, young puffin Oona and her friend Adam invite the owl Otto to the waterfall to watch salmon leap upstream at sunrise. First the little owlets Pip and Pop, and Oona's baby brother Baba, must be settled to sleep, so the friends try soft bedding, a game and counting sheep without success. They finally realise the owlets stayed awake because no one said goodnight, and once tucked in the babies drift off. The friends rush to the waterfall and just catch the salmon leaping before the sun climbs too high.

The Tidy-Up

Twins Stan and Olivia realise their playroom is too messy to enjoy, so they set out to tidy it. They try one method, grouping toys by type, then a fussy method that mixes them up, before agreeing to sort every book, car and stuffed toy into red, blue and yellow teams. When their multicolored Leonardo toy fits no team, their friend Puff shares a piece of rainbow to make a multicolored team. The room ends clean and the twins go back to playing.

Ladybugs!

George is given a bag of ladybugs at Flora's plant stand and wants to keep them on his newly planted tomato. When they keep flying off, he tries setting out water and gathering flowers, then mistakes striped potato beetles for yellow ladybugs and puts them on his plant. Flora spots the chewed leaves, identifies the beetles, and together they count and remove all ten before releasing them in the woods. The episode closes with George's plant safe and the family sharing a picnic supper in the garden.

Comic Tragedy

Jay shows his grandmother the comic book he made about a hero named Captain Graviton, then sets off to make copies at the library. When the loose pages blow away, his sister Phoebe and a friend gather them up and use the page numbers to work out which pages are missing and what order they belong in. They keep searching until every page is found and read the finished story together. The episode ends with Jay's completed comic and a plan for the siblings to make a new one together.

Hide and Seek

Peppa and her little brother George play a game of hide and seek at home while Daddy Pig reads his newspaper. They take turns counting to ten and searching under the table, upstairs and behind the curtain. When it is Daddy's turn, George gets another go and hides so well that Peppa cannot find him. The episode ends when Peppa discovers George has been hiding behind Daddy Pig's newspaper the whole time.

Trick Shot

Phoebe and Jay spend the day at the basketball court where their dad, Pete, and Cousin Craig face off in a trick-shot game called Topsy Shotsy. Phoebe coaches Craig and Jay coaches Dad, while Grandma referees and teaches the children to keep score by counting up points on the scoreboard. After a long losing streak, Dad finally wins with Jay's invented 'Topsy surprise' shot. Everyone celebrates and the two players congratulate each other with a 'Good game.'

Caillou's All Alone

After the opening song and a storyteller introduction, Caillou tries to find someone to play with. Mommy is counting and asks him to leave her alone after he accidentally spills her papers, daddy is fixing the washing machine when it erupts in bubbles, and grandma is putting baby Rosie down for a nap. Caillou tries to engage his cat Gilbert in the garden, checks back on mommy, and finally ends up playing happily on his own with a teddy bear. Mommy finds him there and is reassured that he is fine.

Fruit Juice Frenzy

Twins Phoebe and Jay take three dollars from Grandma Annie to buy three juices at Mr. Aguilar's cart outside their apartment building, including a special pineapple, strawberry and mango blend just for Grandma. Along the way they help build the cart's menu and learn the fruit flavours, then hit one setback after another as a thirsty Dad drinks Grandma's juice, the strawberry sells out, and Cousin Craig spills the replacement. With more flavours and even the cups gone, Phoebe invents a mango-cucumber juice served inside a hollowed-out pineapple. Grandma loves the new drink, and the children name it the 'Phoebe and Jay's Special.'

Square's Special Place

Square rushes to meet his friends Circle and Triangle, who introduces a hiding game he calls 'Shroud and Find'. While hiding, Square discovers a tree hollow and quietly turns it into a special place he returns to on his own. When Circle and Triangle later find and share the spot, it starts to feel different to him, and he stops visiting for a while. The narrator closes by reflecting that you can always go back to your special place, even when you are not there.
