Miffy and the Birthday Cake

Mother Bunny wakes Miffy and asks her to borrow chocolate, butter and flour from Auntie Alice for Father Bunny's birthday cake. On the way, Miffy meets Poppy Pig and Barbara Bear, who each mention their own ingredients, and by the time she returns home she has brought back vanilla, cream and sugar instead. Mother Bunny gently reassures her and turns the mix-up into birthday ice cream, which the family then enjoys together at dinner.

Bye Bye

The episode ends with Bing summarising the bye bye box idea and a short closing song.

Toilet Time

Flop adapts a pair of oven mitts into 'ear gloves' so Bing can step back to the window and enjoy the rest of the fireworks safely, and Bing recaps the lesson to the viewer at the end.

Shoe Shopping

The episode ends with Eddie deciding on the dinosaur shoes and feeling ready to go.

Makka Pakka Washes Faces

A long bedtime story set in the Night Garden, a dreamlike outdoor world of puppet creatures. Makka Pakka travels from friend to friend (Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy, the Tombliboos and the ten tiny Pontipines), washing each one's face with his sponge, soap and water. Between visits, the camera follows characters strolling slowly through grass and flowers while a soft narrator describes what is happening. The episode ends with everyone, including a briefly forgotten Igglepiggle, being tucked into bed as the narrator wishes them all goodnight.

Miffy's Musical Day

Miffy invites her friend Aggie, who arrives with an accordion, and mother bunny phones Poppy Pig, who walks up the hill with her double bass and her little niece Grunty. Because there is no real piano for Grunty, Miffy offers her own toy piano. The four of them then play a piece together as a quartet, after which the video ends with a short teaser of the next episode and an end screen.
