Daniel Tiger is nervous about an upcoming checkup with Dr. Anna, so his mom teaches him a song-based strategy: when something is new, talk about what will happen. Together they draw a book showing each step of the visit. After a trolley ride to the office, Daniel waits, then meets Dr. Anna, who checks his heart, ears, eyes, throat, weight, and height. Daniel passes his book to O the Owl, who is also there for a checkup, and rides home with a heart sticker.

After one neighbor is briefly buried in snow they shake him off and build a giant snowman together, before the sun melts everything by the end of the episode.
