The Meteor Shower

On a night on Puffin Rock, young puffin Una and her family and friends set out to watch the August meteor shower together. Along the way they gather hedgehogs, owls and others heading for the sand dunes, while a narrator explains how shooting stars are made. When Una learns her friend Silky is too worried to come, she leaves the show to reassure her and offers to stay by her side. Silky joins them, the friends welcome her with a berry, and the whole island watches the meteor shower together.

Happy Birthday Blue

Host Josh welcomes the viewer to Blue's birthday party and needs help figuring out what present the puppy Blue wants. Across a colourful house, backyard and animated present store, he collects three clues, the colour green, a tank and a shell, drawing each in his notebook. Sitting in the thinking chair, he reasons that the answer is a turtle, which he gives to Blue as a green turtle named Turquoise. The episode ends with the whole group singing, blowing out candles and eating birthday cake.

Daniel's Picnic

Daniel Tiger and his friends Prince Wednesday and Miss Elaina meet at the castle, ride the trolley to the clock factory park, and start a picnic with Daniel's dad nearby. After an alphabet snack game, a make-believe ant picnic, and a ball game that ends with the ball getting squashed, a sudden rain forces them inside the clock factory. They notice clocks shaped like a castle and a tiger and decide to hold their picnic indoors. The episode closes with the friends thanking the viewer and a song about turning disappointment into something good.

Big News with Blue

Josh and his animated puppy Blue play Blue's Clues to work out Blue's big news. With help from friends like Mr. Salt, Mrs. Pepper, Tickety, the Mailbox and Slippery Soap, Josh finds three clues, writes each in his notebook, and thinks them through in the thinking chair. The clues, Mr. Salt, Mrs. Pepper and a bottle, lead to the answer that the couple has had a new baby. The episode ends with the reveal of twins, Sage and Ginger, and a goodbye song.

The Salmon Leap

On the island of Puffin Rock, young puffin Oona and her friend Adam invite the owl Otto to the waterfall to watch salmon leap upstream at sunrise. First the little owlets Pip and Pop, and Oona's baby brother Baba, must be settled to sleep, so the friends try soft bedding, a game and counting sheep without success. They finally realise the owlets stayed awake because no one said goodnight, and once tucked in the babies drift off. The friends rush to the waterfall and just catch the salmon leaping before the sun climbs too high.

Ladybugs!

George is given a bag of ladybugs at Flora's plant stand and wants to keep them on his newly planted tomato. When they keep flying off, he tries setting out water and gathering flowers, then mistakes striped potato beetles for yellow ladybugs and puts them on his plant. Flora spots the chewed leaves, identifies the beetles, and together they count and remove all ten before releasing them in the woods. The episode closes with George's plant safe and the family sharing a picnic supper in the garden.

Lamb Chase

On a calm Irish coastal island, the puffling Oona and her baby brother Baba meet a lamb that seems to have wandered away from its mother. Guided by a warm narrator, Oona decides to walk the lamb back to the meadow, but the lamb keeps leading Baba on playful detours around the island. In the end they discover the mother sheep was hidden in the tall grass the whole time, so the lamb was never truly lost. The lamb reunites with its mum while Oona and Baba look on.

Babasitting

On a spring day on Puffin Rock, little puffling Baba discovers a hibernating hedgehog and decides to stay beside it until it wakes. His older sister Una and their rabbit friend May take turns checking on him while exploring worms, frogspawn and new flowers around the island. May offers to babysit so Una can play, and everyone slowly understands that Baba wants the hedgehog to enjoy spring with them. By evening the hedgehog stirs and the family gathers to enjoy the season together.

The Best Shell

On the island of Puffin Rock, baby puffin Baba picks up a shell that turns out to belong to Bernie the hermit crab. His big sister Una realises the mistake and leads a search across the beach and grotto to find Bernie and return it. While they are away the tide comes in and washes the shell into a rock pool, and Una wades out to recover it. Bernie forgives the puffins, settles back into his best shell, and the day ends with everyone reunited.

Pocoyo

Double Bubble

In this episode Pocoyo, the pink elephant Elly and the orange dog Loula play with soap bubbles on a plain cream background. When the bubbles run out, Pocoyo is left holding the juice and Elly the wand, so neither can make more on their own. A narrator asks the watching child what they should do, and the answer is to share. Pocoyo and Elly combine their items, make bubbles together for Loula, and the episode ends with the three celebrating.
