The class applies the lesson to pick the right materials, and the finished doghouse pleases Bubble Puppy. A running gag about Gil's stuck toolbox is resolved when Molly reveals she simply had a key.

The class ends the episode at their own campfire, where the noises turn out to be the friendly Crab Scouts and Pinkfoot himself, who sings a song. Songs, direct-to-camera quizzes and short stories carry the episode from start to finish.

A storybook segment follows three trick-or-treaters who flee a ghost that turns out to be a friend who just wanted to join in. In the end Mr. Grumpfish scares himself with his own reflection, laughs, and joins everyone to go trick-or-treating.

The Bubble Guppies, a group of preschool-age fish characters, get excited about superheroes after Gil and Molly find a comic book about Guppy Girl and Bubble Boy. After a superhero song and a visit to a pretend superhero store, their teacher Mr. Grouper reads them the comic, and that story takes over: the villain Sid Fishy is stealing smells to brew 'stink sauce' and make all of Big Bubble City stinky. Guppy Girl and Bubble Boy track him to the sky, stop him from raining stink on the city, and capture him. In jail, Sid admits he acted out because he was lonely and wanted a friend, and the heroes befriend him before the episode closes with a song.

In the longest segment, two guppies dressed as space farmers protect their produce from a character called Rotten Tomato, who eventually tastes ripe food, changes his ways and joins them as a friend. They then act out an ocean adventure in which the Sea Witch and her octopus steal the magical jewels that let the sea princes and princesses turn into animals. The friends track down the thief by reasoning through clues and team up to recover the jewels. Zooli ends the threat by tricking the witch into changing into a tiny, harmless sea dragon, and everyone returns safely to the reef.
