This program is well-balanced. It remains mostly easy to follow and process. It is a good fit for the recommended age. The pacing is fast. Images follow each other quickly, leaving little time to pause and take in what is happening. The sound is intense and continuously present. The visuals are calm and well-organized.

One clear thread runs through the whole thing: Molang and Piu Piu are caught out when the weather turns and they make their way to a cave for shelter. Events mostly follow one after another with a recognizable beginning, middle and end, and the amount of new information in each scene stays modest for a small child. The story stumbles a little when comedic gags cut in without much lead-in, which softens the sense of a smooth build. Cause and effect stays easy to follow, since the rain plainly drives the search for a dry place.

Molang and Piu Piu treat each other with warmth throughout, sticking together and comforting one another, and they behave consistently from scene to scene so a child always knows what to expect from them. Moments of worry, a startled reaction to a big creature or the gloom of the storm, are answered fairly quickly by reaching safety and by a cheerful, laughter-filled gathering at the end.
