Mazu Takes A Chance

Mazu, the clever dinosaur, must get a rare dragonfly back from a pair of raptors who will only trade it for a scale from the giant Giganto. She invents plan after plan to peel a scale, and each one fails, from a vine-and-rock cutter to a gentle grabber. Encouraged by her friends Rocky, Bill and Tiny to keep trying and to use her head, she finally realises she can outsmart the raptors with a trap instead. The dragonfly is freed, her eggs hatch safely, and a loose scale drifts down to Mazu at the end.

The Lost Egg

Four young dinosaur friends find a lost egg with no nest during a game of tag in the jungle. Instead of leaving it, they carry it carefully and spend the day asking every creature they meet whether the egg is theirs, meeting a mammal, other dinosaurs and even the towering Giganto along the way. The reluctant Rocky slowly grows attached to the egg and becomes its protector. In the end the egg hatches into Tiny's own baby cousin, and the friends take the little one home.

Saving Ayati

In a prehistoric jungle, a group of young dinosaur friends is playing games when their giant long-necked friend Ayati topples over and cannot get back up. Led by the inventive Mazu, they try one plan after another, tickling her, pulling with vines, and levering a boulder off a cliff, each of which fails. In the end they lure the enormous Gigantosaurus with a walnut, and he knocks the boulder loose in a way that finally lifts Ayati to her feet. The friends celebrate as Ayati heads home to the jungle before nightfall.

The Crevice

In a prehistoric world of talking dinosaurs, four young friends, Rocky, Bill, Tiny and Mazu, are stranded when the shaking ground rips open into a deep crevice. They try several ways to cross, from jumping and swinging on a vine to firing themselves over with Mazu's homemade launcher, while the giant Giganto lingers nearby. When Tiny gets pinned, the timid Bill faces his fear and stirs up a geyser to draw Giganto away for a bath. Everyone makes it home safely and celebrates Bill's bravery.

The Island

Two dinosaur friends, brave-talking Rocky and timid Bill, have a beach sleepover that drifts them out to a mysterious island on a lily pad. Stuck with a hungry predator lurking, Rocky finally admits he cannot swim, and Bill teaches him to float, breathe and kick. Together they swim to escape Terminator and make it back to the beach. By the end Rocky can swim on his own and the two celebrate their friendship.

Don't Cave In

Four young dinosaurs, led by Tiny the triceratops, sneak into a cave that all the bigger dinos warn them to avoid, sure that a fierce monster called Shriekosaurus lives inside. As they work their way deeper, lighting glowing plants and calming their nerves with songs and jokes, they discover the 'monster' is really their friend Iggy protecting a beautiful hidden hangout. Tiny admits she was scared the whole time and coped by acting silly, and the group crosses the cave together. In the end Trey confesses he never entered the cave himself and praises his little sister as the truly brave one.

Because Triceratops!

In the prehistoric land of Cretacea, a young triceratops named Tiny must pass a triceratops trial of tackling, tossing, tugging and stomping before sundown to prove her strength to the herd. Her serious older brother Trey coaches her, but Tiny keeps turning every move into a dance, her Tiny Touch. After a predator chase leaves Trey trapped in quicksand, Tiny uses her own seesaw trick to lever him free. She then performs the trial her own way and passes, ending with a celebration dance.

Rock Out

Rocky, a young dinosaur, tries to prove he is as tough as the giant Giganto by breaking a mountain-climbing record and refusing all help from his friends Mazu, Tiny and Bill. When mysterious ground-shaking 'wobblers' scatter everyone, the group discovers the cause is a rock stuck in Giganto's foot. They calm the hurt giant and work together to remove it, and Rocky learns that even tough guys need help sometimes. The shaking stops and the friends celebrate together.

Air Archie

Archie, a feathered dinosaur who cannot fly, is teased by his friend Rocky and sets out to prove he can take to the air. His clever friend Mazu tries one idea after another, reshaping his tail feathers, adding a workout and building new wings, while the others cheer him on. When a launch from Mount Oblivion goes wrong and Mazu ends up stranded on the giant Giganto, Archie finally flies to rescue her. The friends celebrate his flight and his newfound skill at landing.

The Imitator

In this episode of Gigantosaurus, the young dinosaur Rocky decides to follow the giant Giganto and copy his every move, while his friend Marsh starts copying Rocky in turn. Rocky grows annoyed and snaps at Marsh, then finds himself trapped above a waterfall calling for help. Marsh reaches out with his tail, using an idea inspired by Giganto, and the friends pull Rocky to safety. The two apologise and agree they are fine just as they are, without needing to imitate anyone.

Think Quick

Mazu, a young dinosaur who feels too slow to keep up with her friends, is desperate to grab one of the giant walnuts that the big winds will knock from the trees. She tries invented springy legs, tall stilts and various running tricks, and each one fails. When the winds come and the towering Gigantosaurus gives chase, Mazu realises the huge walnut leaves can be used to glide to safety. The friends escape, share their walnuts with another creature, and Mazu learns that she thinks quick even if she cannot run quick.

Please Don't Pick The Flowers

In a colourful dinosaur land, four young friends, Rocky, Bill, Tiny and Mazu, spend the day near the swamp. When Bill discovers how tasty the floating flowers are and picks far too many, the whole food chain starts to break down, leaving the horseshoe crabs, the birds and even the giant Giganto hungry. Mazu explains how the animals all depend on one another, and the friends set out to dig up a bone, return the flowers and scatter seeds. By the end the ecosystem is working again and Bill has learned how one small choice can affect everyone.

No Joke

Using Mazu's discovery that wet scales are slippery, Tiny slides safely down. By the end D-Lo gives up mean pranks and the friends apologise for ignoring Tiny.
