The plants break loose and swarm the backyard, eating much of the giant bookcase before the day winds down. In the end the dad is delighted with the smaller bookcase that remains, and Candace fails to get her mother to catch the boys.

Perry keeps dodging the chipping gun as the vet-clinic chaos builds. The day ends with the platypus given a clean bill of health and a rainbow over the street.

Once the device is accidentally switched off, the girls snap back to normal, unsure what happened.
