When a giant fish monster attacks, the crew escapes by ejecting their pod and surfacing. At his big on-stage reveal, his proof disappears and a real disco blimp appears, tipping him into a meltdown and leaving him questioning his own sanity. The separate storylines cross paths through the runaway wheel and a passing meteor. By the end the wheel returns as a pair of Ferris wheels in the backyard and the characters gather to look on.

Meanwhile their pet platypus Perry investigates Doofenshmirtz, who has grown an army of omnivorous plants shaped like his own face to get back at childhood bullies. The plants break loose and swarm the backyard, eating much of the giant bookcase before the day winds down. In the end the dad is delighted with the smaller bookcase that remains, and Candace fails to get her mother to catch the boys.

A Chip to the Vet

On a busy 'free chipping day' at a veterinary clinic, Phineas and Ferb build a giant machine to wash and groom the waiting pets. Meanwhile Doofenshmirtz disguises himself as the temporary vet and tries all episode to tag Perry the platypus with a tracking chip, while Candace visits Jeremy at the Slushy Dog counter. Perry keeps dodging the chipping gun as the vet-clinic chaos builds. The day ends with the platypus given a clean bill of health and a rainbow over the street.

The clouds part just as everything comes together and the passengers finally watch the aurora. The platypus's owner is briefly arrested for bringing a pet aboard before the episode closes on the glowing sky.

When Miss Fireside cannot attend, Isabella runs the Fireside Girls meeting to pick a cupcake flavor for their annual jamboree, but a simple tie between vanilla and red velvet spirals into arguing and a fiery brawl. Unknown to the girls, the chaos is caused by a beam from Doofenshmirtz, who is across town renewing his evil business license while Perry the Platypus keeps watch. Once the device is accidentally switched off, the girls snap back to normal, unsure what happened. They settle on red velvet with vanilla frosting and cheer that things work out when everyone cooperates.

The Candace Suit

Candace becomes convinced her mother can only 'see' her brothers' inventions in person, so she borrows life-size body molds and dresses her mom, her friends and herself in matching suits to trick a 'mysterious force' into leaving a giant pogo stick visible.
