Too Hot To Handle

Lucas the spider and his friends gather in a family home around a tray of freshly baked cookies that are still too hot to eat. When Finley cannot resist the smell and keeps burning himself, the group tries wrapping him up, distracting him, and finally teaching him slow breathing to help him wait. A bird swoops in to steal the cookies and is chased off, and later Avocado causes a small mishap trying to reach them. The cookies eventually cool and everyone shares them together.

The Big Squeak

Avocado the dog receives a squeaky toy for finishing puppy school, but the constant squeaking bothers her friends, who take it away and hide it. When Avocado is left sad, Lucas the spider tracks the toy down and reminds his friends to make things right. Playing 'Dr. Lucas', he removes the squeaker so the toy is quiet again, and everyone is happy. The episode closes with another squeaky toy appearing and the whole cycle starting over.

Big Jumping Spider

Lonesome Lucas

Lucas the spider wakes in the middle of the night after a costume party and finds that all his friends are fast asleep. He wanders the darkened family home, tries to play, sings himself a lullaby, and grows lonely as he wonders if he is the only one awake. As the sun rises the household begins to stir and Lucas is at last peacefully asleep.

I Can't See You

His bumblebee friend Finley is too scared of the dark drain to join, so Lucas shows him it is safe and goes first. They shoot out of a garden hose into the yard, where Finley declares it the greatest ride ever and wants to go again.

He realises it is the perfect web for a jumping spider, and the friends bounce on it together.

Lucas the spider is babysitting when Arlo, a little owl, is frightened awake by a big noise and comes to him for comfort. Lucas offers to be his 'Lucas mama' and brings him inside, where Arlo wrestles, makes a mess, climbs into the dog's bed and demands a bedtime story. Lucas patiently manages the lively night with help from his friends. When Arlo's mother comes home, the owl thanks Lucas, heads back to her, and they agree to do it all again the next night.

Something Up There

Once inside, the bird flaps about affectionately and causes a bit of comic chaos before being guided back outside.
