Feeling
Curiosity
Curiosity is the drive behind almost everything a young child learns: the pointing, the endless questions, the taking apart of things that were fine as they were. It is not a skill you teach so much as one you protect, by leaving room for wondering instead of rushing to the answer. A calm, well-made series can model that rhythm, showing characters who notice something, ask about it, and stay with the question long enough to find out.
For 2-year-olds
At two, curiosity lives in the hands and eyes. Your child points, names, opens, and wants to see the same thing again tomorrow. What helps at this age is a slow story that stays with one object or one small discovery, gives it a clear name, and lets the picture rest long enough to be studied. Repetition is not boredom here, it is how a two-year-old confirms that the world behaves the way they expect.

For 3-year-olds
Three is the age of asking out loud. Questions arrive faster than answers, and many of them are really invitations to talk. Look for a story where a character wonders about something ordinary, says the question in plain words, and then goes to look instead of being told. A pause after the question matters too, because a three-year-old often wants to guess first, and guessing wrong is part of the fun.
